It allows me to use flash to shoot indoors and at night even in very cosy or cramped conditions and venues, and to light people & subjects without it being obviously light by flash, giving really even and natural results, with no hot spots, bleaching out, or red eye. I have had several positive comments from professional photographers who cannot believe that my shots were light by one on-camera flash, with the Light Dome, rather than by mobile studio lighting.

They had a magician and casino during the evening celebrations and to round off the evening, the father of the bride had organized the most fantastic firework display in the grounds, set to The Ride of the Valkyries by Wagner.

One of the groom’s best friends, who is considered to be one of the best double bass players in the world, played for the couple at the reception with his band.

The Mother of the bride drove herself to the church in her classic antique frog eye Sprite, with a classic antique Black taxi transporting the bride and bridesmaids.

From training events, teambuilding days in the New Forest and their National Conference in the Forest of Arden, which included,  2 full days of photography of Famous speakers, special events, Golf morning for delegates, and the final diner dance.

I have recently done photography at Hewlett Packard HQ in Bracknell, senior management portraits, and a brainstorming session including all their best ‘executives’,  and for 3G mobile in London, of a new store layout for Xmas.

I have also completed many commissions for The C G themselves when they have needed photographs of new room suits etc, The MD or senior management & personnel for publicity or brochures.

At a Wedding in Fording bridge, I was about to make my way from the car to the church when the heavens opened in a totally unexpected downpour. I had to protect my camera equipment and bundled it all back into the car, slammed the door and to my complete horror found that the car was now locked, with cameras safely inside, with me on the outside, getting drenched. I had about 10 minutes to act. I found a half brick at the edge of the car park and tried with all my strength, by now pretty soaked, to smash the window.

To no effect, I borrowed the tyre jack from another guest and finally managed to break in. The force required meant that I had cut my right hand in several places and had various bits of glass embedded in my fingers.

I got to the church and the lovely warden got the glass out of my hand and bandaged me up while I somehow took pictures of the guests and family arriving. The sun then came out and we got all the lovely shots that everybody wanted.
